Love Tara Gentile’s site and podcast for all things business, the BizChix podcast for its “on-air” coaching calls, and I’ve been devouring an early reader copy of Lori Mihalich-Levin’s “Back to work with Baby,” which launches in April. What are you currently reading or listening to (podcasts, books, blogs etc)? I can usually reconnect with what my personal inspiration or “why” if I just pause long enough to listen. When I’m searching for inspiration, motivation or validation externally, they have been a truly impactful way to shush the mental chatter and tune in to what’s going on internally.

When all else fails, quesadillas - we eat a lot of them at my house!ĭoreen Virtue’s Angel Therapy Oracle Cards.

What are some of your favorite go to meals when time is tight and dinner MUST get on the table?Ī whole chicken into the crockpot first thing in the morning, and cutting up veggies/sauce that I have on hand and throwing them in there at noon. I could analyze potential options all day (I am trained as a researcher after all!) but when it comes to making decisions (for life and business) it has to not just be the right choice based on logic and intellect, but gut and heart too.

Tuning in to that intuition has been a key part of my Boss Mom journey. It’s exciting and scary at the same time, but I know on a gut level that it’s the right decision. As I write this, we are packing up our house and moving in three weeks…but we don’t know where we will land! We received lots of signs that where we currently live is just not the right place for us as a family or as business owners (my husband and I are both self employed) so we are hitting the road. My family is actually in the middle of a huge transition. Tell us a little bit about your family and your Boss Mom journey.
